Well, if you ask the ever straightforward American Idol judge, Simon Cowell, he's already got an answer.
He told reporters at a recent event in LA that he'd like to see Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey in the final two because he thinks they are the best singers among the bunch.
The majority doesn't question Simon's choice of Adam Lambert. Adam hasn't run out of ways to wow the judges week after weeks, thus making him favorite of all four.
We don't know if Simon really made a good choice, but it doesn't matter. The show's not named Simon's idol, right?
America would have the final say of who would be named the next American Idol. Let's just wait for that day to come.
Danny is so overrated. I used to love him but his frequent reference to his dead wife was just sick. Yeah, he might have a good voice but I love Kris Allen's voice over him. Danny usually shouts when he's hitting high notes, Kris doesn't.
ReplyDeleteAnd, just consider this: Kris was the ONLY one among the final 13 who didn't get any screen time during the auditions and Hollywood week. But he wowed me and Mai when we saw him during the semi-finals, singing "Man in the Mirror". He was amazing. So, I hope people will consider that. He's in the final 5 so that only shows that he's got real supporters voting for him. PLUS he's got an amazing voice. He can't win over Adam, though.
All I can say is... if Adam doesn't win this season, a lot of people will swear never to watch American Idol again. He's the only clear winner this season.

And the judges' pimping Danny to be in the final 2 or to win this season is just sickening. He might be cool but he's a David Cook wannabe. I hate him.
